-Arcia is a "Maiden of the Silver", a group of females that do missions (that are crusade-like) in her world, she currently balances a witch's education as well as her duty at home. Arcia is also a lower rank in the Maidens of the Silver, she serves as an informant, support on the front lines, and a scout. Maidens of the Silver are taught to not have emotions are supposed to be strict soldiers. Arcia, on the other hand, tends to steer away from this. Such as her revenge ethics...
-An orphan. Arcia now without her brother lives with a foster family, but is hardly a perfect child, despite her disposition.
-Details on whether she's a pure or half0blood are sketchy at best, as her brother and her never really knew their parents, and were outcasts to say the least.
-Very skillful with guns, close quarter combating, gymnastics, and projectile weaponry. Arcia looks like the typical small girl that doesn't look like she can do much damage, but she's an effective warrior.
Personality A free spirit. Arcia is sociably friendly, though struggles to overcome shyness at times, but all around easy to get along with. She's a typical fifteen year old of her age, naive and idealistic, all the while managing to be very mature. A soft sense of humor, but Arcia tries to pull off being an adult without much luck. All the while, Arcia is not one to be stubborn, compromises without any problem, and is more of an appeaser, she thinks little of herself in situations. Also one prone to emotionally clinging to others, if she finds some sort of connection -- without their knoweldge, of course. Regardless, Arcia is a spunky, friendly, and tries to be an upbeat girl, though sometimes she has a hard time doing such. Always one to put on a smile in the roughest of times, and hopes to see things through. A devout person of faith and not surprisingly, a naive, innocent girl, who's lived a sheltered life, and trusts far too easily. Regarded as "emotional" in Maiden of the Silver's terms.
Her friendly and upbeat personality belies a darker side to Arcia, which is something that goes against her code of conduct as a Maiden of the Silver. Her desire to avenge her comrades and fallen older brother somewhat mask her vision into how corrupt her government really is. This wish to see revenge on Victor Delacriox tunnels her vision and her mindset on the world. Trauma also plays a large part as to why Arcia holds herself back, often slow to act, can be accused of being an airhead at times.
Background (AU and Canon) Arcia grew up alongside her older brother of an unknown name, who was very much her family, aside from being her brother. He looked out for her, took excellent care of her, and promised to look out for her. When Arcia reached a certain age, however, the church of her world extended an invitation to become a "Maiden of the Silver", a religious force of the sort, composing of young girls and women that act out on the Order of Saint Overia's wills, the prime government. Arcia agreed to this, by encouragement of her older brother, believing that it would be far better for a young Arcia to have female company, than to constantly follow him around. And it would be less of a burden for him, because of their social standings.
Social standings, for the sake Arcia and her brother were never defined as "normal", anyway, and probably why Arcia and her brother were avoided for the most part, by their peers. Feeling that Arcia would be better as a Maiden of the Silver, her brother left her the option if it was overwhelming that she could back out and come back home. And he always stressed to Arcia to try and never to please anyone -- that the strange accidents they cause were never her fault. Soon Arcia learned that Maidens of the Silver followed a strict code of conduct, if you will, that they were to follow three simple rules to keep their position: Never show your emotion -- it is believe to sway you in battle and in your decisions and distract you far too much. A vow of utter purity and chastity. Never question the Order of Saint Overia and the church.
Arcia had a hard time adjusting to this standard, though she was a brave, diligent girl, she had a hard time following most of their rules, she fell in the "too emotional" category as a Maiden of the Silver, though she is hardly anything but too emotional. When Arcia had turned 16, a man by the name of Victor Delacriox, rumored to have tampered too much into the dark arts had finally lost his mind, and had went on a killing rampaging, starting with the village where Arcia had lived, killing her older brother in front of her. Before Arcia could act on revenge, her squad of Maidens were called to hunt down and kill the creatures Delacriox had left in his wake. Being that she was still underage and not permitted to use her "gifts", Arcia had followed, being her lower position as a Maiden, placed as a scout, unfortunately, her squadron was killed. The whereabouts, unfortunately, of Victor Delacriox are rumored to be unknown, but Arcia still carries a strong dislike of anyone who follows his path into darker magic. But still in her position as a Maiden of the Silver, Arcia has received a rather curious invitation to an educational institute, at least five years prior. Still curious about her own gifts and abilities, Arcia reluctantly, yet gladly takes the opportunity to Hogwarts, perhaps still looking for a way to stop Victor Delacriox and finally understand her brother and her own "abnormalities".
